Which CPR Certification Do I Need?

**Rates for CPR have gone from $60 to $65 per person.

Healthcare Workers

If you work in healthcare as an APRN, RN, CNA, MA, etc., you will need Basic Life Support (BLS) Heartcode.  BLS is a two-part course.  Part one is an online class taken by clicking HERE.  Part two is a two-hour blended learning class offered at the Christian County Health Department.

HeartCode BLS (For RN, APRN, CNA, MA, etc.)
  • Option 1  This is a two-part course.

    • Part 1 = $31.00, BLS
    • Part 2 = $65.00, 2 hours, HeartCode BLS check-offs are scheduled on the 4th Tuesday of every month from 1-3 pm.  If an organization has greater than 5 participants, additional check off times can be scheduled with a CCHD Health Educator.
  • Option 2
    • In Person Class 6-12 Participants (Group Rate), $65.00 per person (4-6 hours)
  • Option 3
    • In Person Class 5 Participants or Less, $65.00 per person.  The public can attend scheduled BLS CPR AED classes when they are offered at CCHD.

 

 

Non-Healthcare Workers

If you are not a heathcare worker, but need to be CPR certified in adult, child, infant, and/or pediatric CPR, you need Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online.  This is a two-part course.  Part one is an online class, taken by clicking HERE.  Part two is a two-hour blended learning class offered at the Christian County Health Department.

HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED Online
  • Option 1   This is a two-part course.
    • Part 1 = $19.50, Heartsaver
    • Part 2 = $65.00, 2 hours, HeartSaver check-offs are scheduled on the 4th Tuesday of every month from  3-4 pm.  If an organization has greater than 5 participants, additional check off times can be scheduled with a CCHD Health Educator.
  • Option 2
    • In Person Class 6-12 Participants (Group Rate), $65.00 per person (4-6 hours)
  • Option 3
    • In Person Class 5 Participants or Less, $65.00 per person.  The public can attend scheduled BLS CPR AED classes when they are offered at CCHD.

 

**Schedules for in-person BLS classes great than 5 participants are offered periodically based on the certification needs of CCHD staff. Seats are limited and schedules are fixed.
