Preparedness

Public health preparedness exists to educate the community on personal and family preparedness in the event of emergencies. In the event of an emergency or disaster, it is important for every citizen to be prepared to care for themselves and their families for up to 72 hours by assembling a disaster kit and disaster plan.

CCHD’s preparedness coordinator is here to help you create a disaster plan, communication plan, or disaster kit. We can also present important programming on preparedness for your business, civic organization, or church.
