Food Safety

We inspect all food service establishments including: Restaurants, daycares, school cafeterias and temporary concession booths. Establishments are inspected two times per year and when there is a complaint. Inspection reports are published in the Kentucky New Era and are required to be in a visible location to the public

Temporary Food Booths & Concessions:

Individuals may set up a temporary food booth by applying for a permit at the Christian County Health Department. Permits must be approved before operation begins and all individuals will be required to meet the state temporary requirements. Temporaries can only operate in one location for 14 days then must relocate to a separate location before returning. Once you have operated the allotted amount of time, you will not be able to operate in the same location for 30 days.
