Why Hygiene Education? 

As youth mature and develop into adulthood, proper hygiene is essential for good health.The Health Education team offers the following programs for Hygiene:


Smile Smarts– Grades PreK-8

Smile Smarts! is dental health curriculum offering education on how to properly care for your teeth. 


Basic Hygiene - Grades 6-8

This straight-forward program teaches the basics of good hygiene. Throughout the lesson, students are reassured that body odor, bad breath, tooth decay, oily hair, skin break outs and acne can all be managed by developing good habits of personal care.


Germbusters - Grades PreK - 2nd

This single session workshop educates participants on proper hand washing techniques emphasizing that proper hand washing is the single most effective way to prevent the spread of disease.
